There is another famous quote from the beginning of the original show that was updated for the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" series.  It describes the mission of the starship Enterprise "To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before".  Our community has now gone where our community has never gone before.  Our 2013 Campaign has now raised $13,050,000 towards our goal of $13,350,000.  Last year, our 2012 Campaign raised $13 Million, our highest ever (until now).  We have, for many years in a row, had consecutive growing campaigns.  This is not something, unfortunately, that every Jewish Federation in our country can boast. 
 
In addition, we now have more donors to the 2013 Campaign than we had in the 2012 Campaign.  This is a phenomenal accomplishment.
 
We are not done yet.  We still have many more commitments to close to help us hit our goal, and we think we can achieve it.  The success of the campaign is symbolic of the way our community members feel about our Jewish community.  They are willing to invest their charitable dollars where they believe they are having great impact and where their dollars are being properly managed.
