On Sunday, I am looking forward to participating in the first local conference conducted by the Jewish Community Legacy Project (JCLP).  This group works with small Jewish communities to help them continue their important work and to determine a long term strategy for each of them.  We have many of these small communities in this region and this Sunday, Jewish communities from New Castle, Greensburg, Olean, Niagara Falls, Washington and others will be meeting at the JCC in Squirrel Hill.

I hope to see many of you on Tuesday night when the Pirates host Jewish community Heritage night at PNC Park.  Many representatives of synagogues and agencies will be out on the field and introduced before the game and I (hopefully) will not make a fool of myself when I throw out the first pitch.
